Spooky October!

With the year almost gone already, we now start looking towards the end of the year which generally always starts to get busier - as we try squeeze as much in as possible before the Christmas break.

We’re starting to see nicer weather with more sun and warmer days (just not so good for the hay fever suffers!).

Now is a good time to start booking ahead as it tends to get busy for the “crazy season”.

Apple release MacBook Pro 14” with M5 chip

Apple have updated the entry level MacBook Pro 14” with the new M5 chip. You can also now configure it up to a 4TB SSD storage. It still has the same 10core CPU and 10core GPU with 16core Neural Engine - but is now up to 15x faster then previous models.

Though they only changed the entry level 14” model, the other models and the 16” still use the M4 Pro and M4 Max chips. 

So we may not see these updated until early 2026.

Apple update iPad Pro to M5 chip (And Apple Vision Pro to M5 chip)

As well as the entry level MacBook Pro 14” Apple also added the M5 chip to the iPad Pro and Apple Vision Pro.

The iPad Pro also gained Apple’s own N1X chip to the Cellular model version as well.

What may we see this month?

After the annual “iPhone” event last month, we sometimes don’t always see too many new Apple items. But according to rumours we may see updated iPad Pro models and MacBook Pro updates this month.
