December 2023

And just like that, December is on us already! As we head into the last month of the year and start “the silly season”, we can look back over the year that’s almost finished.

We’ve seen some nice upgrades to pretty much all the Apple range, new versions of macOS, iOS etc.  And we start to look towards 2024 with “what might come” for next year.

So all in all, it’s been a fairly busy year on the Apple front.  And I’m sure next year will hold a lot more in store as well!

But as we start to head towards the end of the month, I hope everyone has had a good 2023 and we wish you a Safe and Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. And may the Santa elf bring you all the fun things you ask for!

Thank for all the support and work during 2023 and I look forward to catching up with everyone in 2024.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to All. Stay safe…and enjoy your Apple products over the Christmas/New Year break!

Apple shares “Fuzzy Feelings” clip for the holiday season.

Apple have released their annual small video clip ready for the holiday season. Worth a look for the 4 minute video.

Have you considered if your computer stops working or could be down for quite a while?

If your computer crashes or is down for a long period time, or even if it’s going to be away for service work for a while, have you considered the down time this could cause to yourself, your work and/or business?

There is a way that an external drive can be set up beforehand where in these sort of circumstances you can still be up and running relatively easy - even if your computer has to go away for days to be repaired.

It’s a relatively cheap and easy process.

If you would like to find out more about how this can be set up for yourself or your business please feel free to drop me an email or call to discuss.

Be aware of “Fake webpages” advising you need to update.

So there is a bit of a rise on the number of webpages or fake links that will try to trick you into calling a number or clicking a link to “update” some piece of software.

I’ve written a page with a bit more info on it here
