So here we are into the start of another year, as we welcome in 2025!
I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and New Year break and is feeling refreshed for the year ahead.
Rumours are already building around the upcoming M4 Macs expected this year, suggesting we’ll see the MacBook Air upgraded to the M4 chip, followed later by the Mac Studio, completing the lineup. Speculation about the M5 announcement is also starting to swirl, hinting at another exciting year for Apple enthusiasts with plenty of new products to anticipate.

Some of the new features in iOS18
With Apple releasing iOS 18.3 recently, and since iOS18 a lot of new features have been added, so it wouldn’t be surprising to miss a lot of these. MacRumors did a good run done of the 50 new iPhone features, so if you want to catch up on some of the cool things, have a look at the article.

Critical Privacy Vulnerability in WhatsApp Resolved with Latest iOS Update
WhatsApp has rolled out version 25.2.3 for iOS, addressing a major privacy vulnerability that compromised its "View Once" feature. The bug allowed users to access self-destructing photos and videos even after they were meant to disappear. So definitely worth ensuring you’ve installed this update if you use WhatsApp.

What's New with Siri in 2025
Apple began enhancing Siri's capabilities with Apple Intelligence features introduced in iOS 18.1 and iOS 18.2. However, more updates are on the horizon for 2025, set to roll out with iOS 18 and iOS 19. By this time next year, Siri is expected to be significantly more advanced, provided Apple's planned improvements deliver as promised.

Five Exciting Apple Intelligence Features Launching in 2025
Although iOS18.2 was just released recently, Apple still have some exciting features coming to Apple Intelligence (AI) in their next update, due out some time in 2025.

Be aware of “Fake webpages” advising you need to update.
So there is a bit of a rise on the number of webpages or fake links that will try to trick you into calling a number or clicking a link to “update” some piece of software.
